Leisure Days RV Centre Rental Info. 

Security Deposit: A $2,000 security deposit will be taken prior to the rental departure. This deposit will be refunded within 5 business days of the rental’s return after the unit has been inspected and approved by the service department. All damage costs will be deducted from the security deposit. Damage cost estimates will be provided by Leisure Days RV Centre Kingston’s service department, amounts over and above the security deposit will be charged to the customer.

Payment Options: Full payment plus the security deposit is required upon departure. Payment options are Cash, Debit, or Credit Card. We do not accept personal cheques.

Minimum Rental Period: RV rentals are available for a minimum of 7 days at a rate of $2,495 per week which includes 2,100 free km. Additional days may be added at a rate of $360 per day and each day will include 200 free km.

Booking Deposit: A deposit of $1,000 is required at the time of booking to hold your reservation.

Cancellations: No refund of the reservation deposit shall be given in the event of a rental cancellation as of 30 days prior to the scheduled departure date. Any cancellation from 31 days to 59 days prior to the scheduled departure date will result in 50% of the reservation deposit returned. Cancellations of 60 or more days prior to the departure date will result in 100% of the deposit being returned.

Early Returns: No refund will be provided for early returns, late pickup, or partial cancellations after departure.

Late Fee: The vehicle is overdue after 4:00 pm on the date of return. A late fee of $50/hour will be charged, with no exceptions. Please notify us if you will be late in returning.

Recreational Vehicle Orientation: A brief orientation of approximately one hour on how to operate the RV will be provided at the time of vehicle pickup.

Driver's License/Age Requirement: The minimum driver age is 25 years. All drivers must provide a copy of a valid driver’s license from his/her country. An international driver’s license is recommended for all drivers who are not residents of Canada or the United States.

Insurance: A statutory automobile liability insurance against third party claims is included in the basic rental fee. Complete coverage and waivers are subject to the terms and conditions of the rental contract and Leisure Days RV Centre Kingston’s insurance provider.

Taxes: All rental charges are subject to HST at the rate of 13%.

Rental Periods: The rental period is from Monday – Friday. No pickups or returns are allowed on Saturdays, Sundays or holidays.

Departure Times: 9:00 am – 11:00 am

Return Times: 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Kilometers: Included are 2,100 km per week. Excess mileage will be charged at a rate of 35¢ per extra km.

Motor Fuel and Propane: Leisure Days RV Centre Kingston makes no representations as to fuel consumption; Motorhomes are supplied with full tanks of fuel and propane. If the rental unit is returned with less fuel or propane than on departure, the customer will be charged an $80 fuel surcharge plus the cost of the fuel and/or propane.

Cleaning Fee: The customer agrees that they will return the unit in the same condition as they received it (excluding normal wear and tear). A fee of $200 will be charged if the interior and exterior of the vehicle has not been cleaned.

Dumping Fee: All water and sewage tanks must be emptied prior to returning the rental unit. A fee of $100 will be charged if the tanks are not emptied.

Smoking: Smoking is not permitted. If the returned rental unit is found to have been smoked in, the customers will be subject to a cleaning fee of $300.

Towing: Customers are not permitted to tow anything behind the rental unit.

Awnings: Each rental unit comes equipped with an electric awning.

Household Items: Common household items such as dishes, pots, pans, cutlery, linens, towels, etc are not provided with the unit.

Storing Items on Roof: Customers are not permitted to stand on the roof of the rental unit. Storing items on the vehicle roof or exteriors is also not permitted.

Responsibilities: Rentals must be returned to Leisure Days RV Centre Kingston on the agreed upon date and time. If rentals are not returned to this location, the customer will be held liable for all costs associated with the return of that rental unit.

Break Downs: In the event of a motorhome breakdown, Leisure Days RV Centre Kingston provides a 24 hour toll free travelers assistance line to help you get back on the road as soon as possible.

Drivers: Only the renter and those listed on the Rental Agreement as additional drivers are authorized to operate the Class C motor home. The renter is fully responsible for any and all damage caused by an unauthorized driver.

Traffic/Parking Violations: Any and all traffic and parking violations incurred by the renter must be paid before returning the rental unit or the renter will be charged an administrative fee.
